今日の「大好き北海道」から ☆宗谷丘陵の周氷河地形（北海道遺産：稚内市） Circumferential Glacier Toporography of Soya Hills (Hokkaido Heritage : Soya)

約１万年前まで続いた氷河期間、地盤の凍結と融解の繰り返しによって土がゆっくりと動くことでつくられた地形です。（写真提供：北海道遺産協議会）

During the Ice Age around 10,000 years back, the hills was formed by the slow repetitive movement back and forth between freezing and meltdown of the ground.
