今日の「大好き北海道」 チングルマ（大雪山裾合平）Chinguruma - geum pentapetalum(Daisetsuzan Susoaidaira)

実の形が子供の風車に見え、稚児車から転じて付けられました。大雪山旭岳の近くの裾合平周辺の大群落が有名です。

The shape of the fruit is just like that of pinwheel (Chigoguruma) from which the name stems. The large clusters in and around of Susoaidaira near Asahi-dake are reputed.
